PRELUDE TO AN ICE FIELD A video starring Henry Brant, Michael Tilson Thomas, Kathy Wilkowski, & staff members of the San Francisco Symphony. August 31, 2001. Brant and Wilkowski arrive from their home in Santa Barbara for a look at Davies Symphony Hall where Brant's Ice Field will be premiered December 12-15, 2001. At that time, Brant will be the organ soloist in this work for 93 musicians. In our video, Mr. Brant tries out the Ruffatti organ and its low 32- and 64-foot stops, guided by organ conservator Blaine Ricketts.
