This hour, we’re going to hear a surprising variety of styles of music made with electric guitars. In the upcoming set there will be a jazz flavored work by Nels Cline and Julian Lage, and an experimental work by rockers Kim Gordon (ex Sonic Youth) and Bill Nace, who work together under the name Body/Head. But first we’ll hear a collaborative piece by Brian Eno and Robert Fripp, the title track from their 1975 album Evening Star. This program also includes work by Bay Area native Bill Orcutt, Arto Lindsey, Elliot Sharp, and Rhys Chatham.
