This program by special guest host Zachary James Watkins features music by living composers who are also performers. From Watkins: “This program features music by living composers/performers whose work has touched/moved me over the years. Some are collaborators, but all are friends who write music that is intimate and hyper sensitive to what I like to think of as simply “relationships.” Each of these artists has a personal performance practice and is developing vocabulary that inspires. I have compiled what I hope will become the first in a series of programs featuring new music by a diverse community of creative musicians.
